I passed most of the night last night infront of a TV in a bar called “Stan’s” in San Jose close to my host family’s house. This was an Irish Pub filled with some international people inside. It gave a very interesting feel to a very American process. I mean, who else does have as complicated or as lengthy  of a process as the USA when it comes to voting. However, as I passed time watching the elections, I couldn’t help but feel like this viewing experience would be an account I would tap deep into my later years of my life. I’ve never seen people amongst my own age be so excited for the political process. It was quite astounding to witness. I truely believe watching Jesse Jackson cry said  it all for me, and I’m sure it did for most other people that watched as well. Someone living out a dream, that was only a whisper about 30 years before. I know that he cannot make rain fall or hurricanes cease, but I can only usher in these malacious events with a tempermant and understand that rivals the last 8 years of our last President. For whatever happens, America will now have a new prescription to confront future problems. Congratulations Obama.
